Why Insurtech Alpha Exists
Our founder, Akhtar Hassan, spent years working in the insurance industry through Alpha Insurance Solutions, our registered insurance agency. Over time, he saw agents struggle daily with outdated technology. They were spending 60–70% of their time on administrative work like copying data between systems, manually filling out carrier forms, and chasing policy documents.
At the same time, customers expected fast, modern service but were stuck with tools that felt decades behind. The breaking point came when a skilled agent spent three hours getting workers’ comp quotes that should have taken minutes. That moment sparked the idea for Insurtech Alpha.
